Caroline Eliacheff is a French businesswoman and environmentalist. She is the former CEO of Schneider Electric, a French multinational corporation that specializes in electrical equipment. Eliacheff was born in Montrouge, France, in 1947. She studied at the École Polytechnique and the École des Mines de Paris. After graduating, she worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company. In 1981, she joined Schneider Electric as a marketing manager. She was promoted to CEO in 1999 and served in that role until 2014.
Under Eliacheff's leadership, Schneider Electric became a global leader in sustainability. The company was ranked as the world's most sustainable corporation by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for seven consecutive years.
