Mueller GerhardG Biography

German-born American accountant, teacher, researcher, and author described as the "premiere international accountant of the 20th century" and "the father of the international accounting education movement." He was a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (USA) and Professor Emeritus of Accounting at the University of Washington, Seattle. He earned BS, MBA and PhD degrees from the University of California Berkeley. From 1988 to 1989 he served as President of both the American Accounting Association (AAA) and the Washington Society of CPAs. Dr. Mueller is the author, co-author or co-editor of 19 books. Read less
