Woodfield Randall

American homicide; a rapist, thief and killer of nearly 50 victims, all female and all ages, from children to a grandmother. Woodfield was a good student in school and an star athlete. By Junior High school, he began a pattern of seeking sexual thrills by exposing himself to girls. He was a handsome boy except for teenage acne, 6 1". His thrill seeking and deep hostility began to include stealing things from school, friends and neighbors, and vandalizing the property of others. On 8/07/1972, he was arrested for indecent exposure. When picked up by the police, he managed to come out with suspended sentences; he always seemed to get out of things easily without paying the consequences. Even his lofty dreams were accessible. On 2/20/1974, he was signed to the Green Bay Packers pro football, in spite of his unusually small hands. Woodfield had a compelling secret that was bound to be discovered. During the first season with the Packers, there were some 10 to 20 exposure incidents, and he was quietly dismissed from the team. By the end of 1974, he was back in Portland and tending bar. During the early part of 1975, the police blotter reported that several women had been accosted at knife point and forced to fellate a man who stole their purses. On 3/05/1975, Woodfield was picked up shortly after noon on a charge of armed robbery and assault. He was given ten years prison sentence. Out on parole on 7/06/1979, in Salem, OR, he began a pattern of robbery, assault, oral rape or sodomy and murder. His first robbery victim at gunpoint was in Vancouver, B.C. on 12/09/1980, 5:20 PM. During the following ten days he went on a binge of robbery before he raped, bludgeoned and stabbed his first girl on 10/20/1980. Normal sex was never attempted with his victims; it was always fetishism with anal or oral sex. Repelled by homosexuality, he went wild over fellacio and sodomy. He forced women to expose themselves while he did the same, masturbating to have an orgasm on their faces, hair, and mouth, forcing them to perform fellacio. He was called the I-5 Bandit-Killer, the scourge of 800 miles of freeway from British Columbia to Mexico. Captured, Woodfield was found guilty on 6/26/1981 of murder, attempted murder and sodomy.
