American pro athlete, a football player drafted by the New Orleans Saints in 1970. He stayed with the team for one year and then was transferred to the Kansas City Chiefs where he played for two seasons. Otis spent his last six seasons as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals and retired from the game in 1978. Otis was inducted into the Ohio State Varsity O Hall of Fame in 1996.
